3rd Prize for Nikki!

Well yesterday i headed bright and early with my mum and sister to the Sydney Quilt and Craft show! And no im not really all that crafty and i cant sew to save my life! So what was i doing there you ask? Cheering on my cousin Nikki that entered a quilt into the quilt show! She made a quilt of one of her favourite bands grinspoon for year 11 Textiles and her mum decided to enter it in the show! Anyways she came 3rd in the junior category! Unfortunately she just missed out on some money, but got some wadding and some fabric! woo hoo....... Anyways the category was won by a 16 year old guy..... little worried about that - especially seeing his quilt was massive and all frogs!!

Anyways we had a good time after that walking around getting lost and checking out all this cool stuff! We got some bargins from the bead part! I got two pairs of cute as earings for $2 each!! they are mint!! Anyways check out the photos of our family winner!!
