Reading Time!

So about two weeks ago I got onto Book Depository and ordered some decorating books to try and help me along my way! If you haven't checked out Book Depository do so! Books at great prices and free shipping worldwide!!! So for people like me in NZ you don't pay more for the postage than you do the book which can sometimes happen on other sites!

Anyways the first of my books arrived the other day and it is soooo good!! Domino: The Book of Decorating (by Deborah Needleman) is gorgeous and full of fun practical tips on how to set up rooms and decorate them! I had a really good flick through the night I got it, but cant wait to sit down and really have a good read through! Mind you im now worried ill have a thousand ideas but not sure if I should implement them or not!

Here comes some colour!

I have also just purchased a couple of lovely prints by the talented illustrator Zoe Ingram from Adelaide. I am off to buy some lovely white frames to put them in, and I think I will put them in our bedroom! Its the start of my home colour revolution!

If you like any of these prints or anything else Zoe has an etsy shop! I have also bought the printable designs so now I can send people funky letters, especially after the wedding as thank you notes etc.

Will take a photo of them up on the wall once I get them up!

Im on a mission...

Abby over at Two Little Dickie Birds did up the most amazing table a little while back. When I found this online I was inspired to do the same. So I have bought myself this little table from The Warehouse and I plan to do it up with some wallpaper I have purchased.

Now speaking of the Wallpaper! I cannot wait for my parents to come visit in two weeks, as they will be bringing with them my latest investment from Signature Prints in Sydney! Again after my interior design revelation I discovered the amazing world of Florence Broadhurst and I have purchased some leftover bits of her wallpaper! Although expensive I am so excited to get them and do up my little table!

Cant wait to get my paper!! Hurry up mum and dad!!

Im back and im inspired!

Well as usual I go through stages with my blog! But this time I feel like im back!

I have been falling in love with interior design of late and I want to share some of my finds!

The best find I have found so far has been Alex Fulton ! I am in love with her home and her blog! She is a fellow Christchurchian, and lives in Sumner. Her house is amazing and im now in love with colour! Im inspired by her imagination and the colours in her home! Below are some pictures (from Alex's blog and homestyle magazine) of her amazingly beautiful home that was featured in homestyle magazine!
