I raced okay, and im pretty happy with my race with the amount of training i have done since i have been back home! I finished 6th on the Saturday and then 5th on Sunday. I finsihed 3rd in Under 22's so im pretty happy! Im now ranked 4th in NSW in ladies K1.
The weekend also doubled as selection for the Youth Olympics team. The racing was pretty tight between the juniors this year for the limited amount of spots. The team unded up being
Womens Kayak - Emmie Barrat, Kate Mollison and Roslyn Lawrence
Mens Kayak - Josh Williams, Phillip Gibbons and Phillip Mingerulli
Mens Canoe - Ian Borrows and Ethan Hodson
Mens C2 - Karl Hageman and Chris Horlyck
Hopefully they will come away with some medals in January!!
