Well the race at Ceske was interesting!
The course was physically and mentally demanding with lots of split gates in eddies and weird placements of gates!
This was my first international race in Europe and i was pretty nervous! I 50ed the first gate on my first run and so it all kind of went downhil from there!! But i managed to have a faster run on my seconds run and finsihed in 29th position, just squeezing into semi's the next day!!
Well semis didnt go so well! The course was difficult and i just couldnt get the boat to run. I was too high for ups and i just didnt get to do what i wanted to! Oh well! I finished a little higher in 25th position, although a little disapointed with my result!
Now its onto some more training before another race in 3 weeks time in Oetz, Austria!
I will hopefully get a chance to post some photos soon! The computers we are on arent very good!

Hi Katie! Sounds like you are having a great time. A pity the weather was miserable in Prague for the races but it doesn't seem to have mattered to you guys. You look like you were enjoying yourself afterwards. I wish I could have seen the act on stage!
Please don't show me any more photos of you and the boat lost in waves! Wait until you get home .
We had a great time in Canberra - the Wallabies were staying in our hotel so we ran into them all the time. Spoke to George Gregan and saw Lotti - made my weekend.
