Friday

Friday was a big day!! I found myself exhausted when i finally sat down around 11pm! The morning started off very sad, having to say goodbye to my beautiful great nan. It was a lovely service and my sister and dad both spoke very well! After the funeral my mum and dad took myself, my sister and duncan out to lunch! By this time we had all eaten too much food but managed to fit more in somehow! After lunch dunc and i headed home to an empty house as our housemates Jacqui and Sam had gone to the airport to fly out to Athens! I wish them good luck in thier paddling over the European Summer!

We watched Grey's Anatomy (which Sam had given to me that morning for my birthday) whilst eating chocolate.... again i was full!! At around 6 we headed to my friend Jo's house for a bbq! It was a short bbq for me and duncan as we had to get home early but it was nice to see all my uni mates and i thank them heaps for my lovely new sleeping bag which will come in handy over in Europe and generlaly every other paddling trip i go on!! Also thanks to Lousie and Lars who gave me a bottle of Champers and some finishing sauce!!! (in house joke)

After we came home from Jo's I found that Toad had brought me a cake and the other Annett street residents sang happy birthday! Thanks guys!

So all in all it was a big rollercoaster of a day and i was glad to hit the hay!

I will post some photos later as i got a new awsome camera for my birthday off my sister and duncs! It will be great to be able to take pics again and not have to steal them off other peoples blogs!!
