Well there was a race on the weekend at Penrith the 'Teach International Slalom' which was held over two days of the weekend! I placed okay on both days, but i had major stuff ups on 3 out of 4 runs and then had a pretty sweet run down the course to finish off the weekend which left me happy! Now its just another month and a bit of solid training till the next race which is Selection in Tasmania in April!
My housemates Jacqui and Sam showed the competition how fast they are by being the top ranking Australians on day 1, with Sam coming 3rd to Helmet Oblinger from Austria and Brett Heyl from the USA. Jacqui beat Kim Walsh from Great Britian for the gold and Violetta Oblinger-Peters from Austria came in 3rd!A great result for both of them!
Sunday afternoon I went up to Emmie's house to celebrate her 17th birthday with family and friends, it was a great afternoon playing with her puppy and having a good chat! We also went down to Lachie's house after for a pizza night and to watch the start of the winter olympics on tv!!
