Emu's Flute

Saturday night was Emu's Flute night!! There is a great new cafe opened in Emu Plains called Emu's Flute and it is fantastic! Everybody should go! The drinks and food are great and the service even better! But the best thing yet is the live entertainment! My dear friend Emma (who ironically we call Emu) had her first live gig on Saturday night at the cafe! She did a set on her flute which was amazing and then came back and blew us all away with her great guitar skills and awsome songs that she had written herself! Congrats to Em, for getting throught it and showing us all your amazing talent! The place was packed with paddlers, which was great to see the support that this sport has! We also got a show from the chinese resturant next door that were celebrating chinese new year! We got a nice picture with the dancing dragon, unfortunately Jamie and I wanted to show off our dragon manouvering style, but we weren't aloud! After the show we trekked on down to O'Donaghues and had a couple of drinks! Once again I have stolen picts from Jamie's blog cause I can't find my camera...... probably should do that!!
